Investigations of the Horizon
A formative occurrence in our lives is the phenomenon of the horizon as it lingers out on the edges of our experiences in both our physical and mental universes. While it can be said that we live balanced between the two, there is a limitation to experiencing the infinite. This limitation does not manifest in a defined point or line, a place or a thing, but tapers to a phenomenon, the effect of the horizon. As we physically move toward the horizon, it becomes evasive and keeps its distance. Since the outer world, including the effect of the horizon, is formative to the inner, thoughts and memories of things diminish inward as well. We exist in a conundrum of revelation and space and the potential for seeing landscapes and the phenomenon of the horizon looms in large and small scales.
